How do I make Long Distance or International calls from my Comwave Home Phone?
Making Long Distance calls from your Comwave Home Phone is simple!

 

To make a Long Distance call within North America… Dial 1+ Area Code + Phone Number
To make an International call (outside North America)… Dial 011 + Country Code + City Code + Phone Number

 

And remember if you are calling from a Comwave Home Phone to another Comwave Home Phone, you can call anywhere in the world for FREE! If not, you can check Long Distance Rates before you call by visiting us online and using our rate finder!

 

How is the sound quality of VoIP?
Sound quality on VoIP is all about Internet connection! If your Internet connection is good then the sound quality on your Comwave phone call should match.

 

VoIP isn’t a new technology anymore and we have been perfecting our VoIP network for more than 10 years to offer exceptional quality and stability. How does CityFREETM work?
Comwave has a great service called CityFREE that lets people in other cities call you for FREE! For example, if you live in Toronto, but your mom lives in Montreal, now you can have a Montreal Phone Number that will ring on your Toronto line. With CityFREE your mom can call and chat with you as long as she likes without Long Distance charges! You just have to make sure she calls your CityFREE Montreal Phone Number. Each CityFREE Phone Number is only $1.95 per month and you can get up to 10 different CityFREE Phone Numbers added to your account!

 

How do I keep my Comwave Services, like Home Phone and Internet, when I move?
It’s easy to take your Comwave Services with you wherever you go. For your Home Phone service, you don’t even have to change your Phone Number. Simply plug your Home Phone into your new Internet connection and if you do decide to change your Phone Number, just give us a call at 1-866-770-8522 and we’ll be happy to help you out!

 

The most important thing to do when you move is to ensure you have a high-speed Internet connection set up at your new location. If you have Internet with Comwave, contact us a couple weeks before you move so that we can set up an Installation Appointment as close to your move-in date as possible. We want to make sure that everything is ready for you to use as soon as you get to your new home.
